Gratitude is an expression of thankfulness, it is expressed with appreciation and kindness and it is the emotion connected with abundance or ‘having’. When we actively practice gratitude, we cultivate this positive experience and emotion consciously, recognising all that we have to be grateful for and working on the practice of being grateful for the situations we would like to welcome into our lives but which have not yet manifested.
As well as giving you 5 ways to practice gratitude, we will also share a little about the positive health benefits of practicing gratitude and give some guidance on why incorporating simple ways to practice gratitude into your life can have momentous effects.

Letting Go Meditation - how we can use meditation for letting go + FREE guided meditation for letting go
One of the biggest challenges of the human condition is how difficult it can be to move on from the past. We are able to use our minds to actively rehash and relive past experiences, this practice can cause us emotional and mental suffering and prevent our ability to live in the present moment, enjoying new experiences and choices.
We can use meditation in a number of ways to help us let go of the past, as well as letting go of anger and other challenging emotions. There is no single meditation on letting go, and in this blog we discuss some different methods of meditation about letting go, as well as offering you a letting go meditation script and a free letting go guided meditation to help you on your journey.

What is Reiki? A Reiki FAQ Blog…
What is Reiki?
At Mettitation, Reiki is a treatment we offer, either as a standalone treatment or as a combination with another of our healing modalities. But what is Reiki healing? Reiki is a Japanese energy treatment, which aids in relaxation, stress reduction and healing, both of a physical and emotional or mental nature.
During a Reiki treatment the practitioner intentionally connects to a balanced energy, sometimes called life-force, universal energy, Prana or Chi, and then guides that energy to work for the benefit of the recipient.
Calm Birth Meditation
Calm Birth Meditation for Pregnancy & Labor
Of all the meditation and healing modalities offered at Mettitation, the Calm Birth Method and Calm Birth meditation may be considered of supreme importance. Pregnancy and labour are momentous times in life. The pregnant person goes through an incredible journey and alteration, the pregnant couple experience this together, and the new life is created and begins to experience existence. In pregnancy and labour there is much that can be done to minimise trauma and stress and to maximise the beauty and awesomeness of the experience. Healthy children and healthy parenting begins in the earliest stages of pregnancy, and the Calm Birth meditation assists in this wish.
Famous People Who Meditate
It’s always interesting to see which celebrities are involved in different wellness and health practices; for me this isn’t because I am particularly wowed by celebrity culture. The reason I think there’s validity in noticing wellness celebrities is that they often have access to the best of things. Their inherent privilege and comes-with-the-territory attention to maintaining health and the appearance of youth, means that celebrities can sometimes be a good gauge for what works in the wellness world. When it comes to celebrity meditation it may well be worth asking “who meditates?”, perhaps even more so if you are interested in being successful - in whatever way success is valid to you.
In this blog I’ll be taking a look at famous people who meditate, Transcendental Meditation celebrities and other successful people who meditate, and to finish up I’ll leave you with a summary of why there are so many famous people that meditate, and how those reasons can be applied to you and me.
Let’s begin by taking a comfortable seat and turning our gaze outward, to the world of celebrity meditation.
